Three slender bands worn stacked on one finger

Worn together

Most people start with one and add to it

The bands are one and a half to two millimetres across — narrow enough that two or three sit on the same finger without crowding it, and narrow enough to wear beside whatever you already own.

Nothing is sold as a set. A stack is something you build over time rather than buy at once.

Narcisa Pheres and the jeweller Ching at the bench in Hong Kong, examining stones over a tray of finished pieces

The bench

The bench in Hong Kong, and the hands at it

Narcisa Pheres and Ching, the jeweller who makes the Hong Kong pieces, over a tray of stones.

Every stone in the collection is looked at like this before it is set — one at a time, under a loupe, against the piece it is meant for. The house works at two benches, one in Istanbul and one in Hong Kong, and which of them made your ring is printed on that ring's own page rather than generalised across the site.

How they are made

Sizing

If the size is wrong, we remake it once

Not resized — remade. These bands are between 1.6 and 1.9 mm wide, too slender to cut and rejoin without leaving a mark, so a wrong size is answered with a second ring rather than a repair to the first.

How to arrive at a size without guessing

Measure a ring you already wear and like. Lay it on a printed millimetre rule, read the inside edge to inside edge, and match that diameter against the table below. Fingers are widest in the evening and in heat; measure twice, on two different days, and take the larger reading.

We no longer post a steel sizer. The printable one on the sizing page is calibrated against a bank card, which everybody has, and it arrives in the time it takes to print.

Ruby Baguette — worn

On the hand

Narrow enough to wear beside everything else

A ruby baguette between two brilliants, on a band made to your size rather than altered into it. Photographed on a hand at true scale, because a ring this small is easy to make look larger than it is.
