Getting it to you

Shipping and returns

Every piece is made after you order it, so the two things worth knowing are when it leaves and what happens if it is not right.

When it ships

A piece takes seven working days to make. Allow thirteen to sixteen days from order to delivery in total — a little faster inside Europe, a little slower to the United States.

Your product page shows the actual dispatch date, counted in working days from today rather than quoted as a vague window. Where a piece happens to be in stock it leaves the next working day.

How it travels

Insured and tracked, worldwide, with a signature required on delivery. The insurance covers the full value of the shipment, not a token amount, and nothing we make is sent without it.

That cover runs for the journey only — which is why anything wrong has to be photographed and reported within seven days of delivery.

What it costs

Shipping is charged, not built into the price, and the amount is shown before you reach checkout. We would rather show you the real cost than inflate the ring to hide it.

Duties and taxes

Calculated at checkout for your country where we are able to, and payable on delivery where we are not. Customs charges are set by your government, not by us.

Gift packaging

Every piece travels in its own box. Where it is a gift, tell us at checkout and we will pack it for one — there is a choice of finishes, and a card written the way you want it.

Returns

Every piece is cast after you order it, in the size you order, so there is no change-of-mind return: a ring made to one finger cannot be sold to another. Under EU distance-selling rules goods made to a customer's specification are exempt from the fourteen-day cooling-off period, and that is what these are.

What we do instead, once per order and within three days of delivery: we will resize the piece, or issue a credit note against anything else in the collection. Write to us inside those three days and we will send instructions and an insured label.

Return postage on an exchange is yours. The label is insured and we arrange it, and its cost is deducted from the credit note or invoiced with the resize. The outward delivery you already paid is not refunded either. One exchange, three days, and postage at your cost is what keeps this offer open at all — every exchange means the piece travels insured twice and goes back on the bench, and an open-ended policy ends up paid for by the people who order once and keep what they ordered.

If it does not fit

These are narrow set bands and resizing one risks the stones. Where a size can be corrected safely we will correct it; where it cannot, we remake the piece in your size once, at no charge for the work. Tell us within three days of delivery. Return postage on a resize is yours, as above.

Measure before you order. There is a gauge on the sizing page, and the workshop will talk you through it if you write first.

If something is wrong with it

Anything wrong with a piece — damage in transit or a fault in the making — must be reported within seven days of delivery, with photographs. Photograph it the day it reaches you, before you wear it.

Everything travels insured, but that insurance covers the journey only. After a week of wear there is no way to tell a fault in the making from damage in use, and no claim can be made on either us or the carrier.

Inside those seven days, with photographs, it is ours to put right: we repair or remake the piece and we pay postage both ways. You are never out of pocket for something that was wrong when it left the bench.
