An emerald cut as a marquise, the long pointed shape that follows the line of the finger, with diamond melee running to either side. Emerald is the softest stone we set, so this is a ring to take off before the gym.

Treatment: Clarity-enhanced with oil. Disclosed under the FTC Jewelry Guides, 16 CFR Part 23.22, which require any treatment that is not permanent, that affects value, or that calls for special care to be named.

Oiling is not permanent: the oil can dry or be drawn out by heat, solvents or ultrasonic cleaning, and a stone can be re-oiled. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft brush, nothing else.

GIA issues an individual grading report only for a loose diamond of 0.15 carats or more. The small diamonds in our pieces fall below that, and stones already set cannot be graded at any weight, so none of them carries an individual report and we make no claim that they do. Any colour or clarity shown is graded to GIA terminology by our own gemmologists against the supplier parcel specification, not by a laboratory. Naming the system is itself required, by FTC 16 CFR Part 23.1.

Nothing is cast until you order it. Your size is cut in wax and cast in gold, the stones are set by hand under a microscope, and the ring is filed, polished and struck with its gold mark inside the band before it is weighed against the figures on this page. Around 7 days in Hong Kong.
